 SABATO 31: "LE BAMBOLE ASSASSINE" ...HALLOWEEN Il Flapper Cabaret per una notte diventa un antico laboratorio clandestino di bambole, nascosto dietro le porte di uno Speakeasy.Si racconta che negli anni Venti un’eccentrica fabbricante realizzasse bambole bellissime, perfette, quasi umane.Ma una notte qualcosa andò storto: il laboratorio fu chiuso e le bambole rimasero lì, immobili, per più di un secolo.Quando tutto sembra appartenere ormai a una leggenda, nel silenzio un vecchio grammofono comincia a suonare: si sente l’eco di St. James Infirmary, trascinando il laboratorio in un’atmosfera sospesa tra il cabaret decadente e il cinema muto degli anni Venti. SATURDAY 31: “THE KILLER DOLLS” — HALLOWEEN ...For one night, Flapper Cabaret becomes an ancient clandestine doll workshop hidden behind the doors of a Speakeasy. Legend has it that in the 1920s, an eccentric dollmaker created dolls so beautiful, so perfect, they seemed almost human. But one night, something went wrong. The workshop was shut down, and the dolls remained there, motionless, for more than a century. Just when everything seems destined to remain nothing more than a legend, an old gramophone begins to play in the silence. HALENA LOU. Dal Canada al Flapper Cabaret di Roma. L’8 e 9 ottobre il nostro palcoscenico accoglie per la prima volta Halena Lou, showgirl internazionale che porta in scena un Burlesque capace di giocare con emozione, femminilità e ironia. Originaria delle praterie canadesi e oggi di base sulla West Coast, si esibisce sui palcoscenici di Canada, Stati Uniti e Panama. Per due serate sarà la nostra Burlesque Guest Star, insieme agli artisti del Flapper Cabaret, per un appuntamento speciale da non perdere.

HALENA LOU.From Canada to the Flapper Cabaret in Rome. On October 8th and 9th, our stage welcomes Halena Lou for the very first time, an international showgirl bringing to the stage a unique style of Burlesque that plays with emotion, femininity and irony. Originally from the Canadian prairies and now based on the West Coast, she has performed on stages across Canada, the United States and Panama. For two nights, she will be our Burlesque Guest Star, joining the artists of the Flapper Cabaret for a special event not to be missed.
